If you guessed it right, June 2009 must/could have been fruitful in the housing real estate. But, has the continuous slashing of prices met its bottom? Sporadic price increase of apartments observed since November 2008 seems to have come to its breach in June 2009. Average prices of apartments in Tashkent in the sample study increased. However, this may yet not be a leap towards a new upward trend in housing estate.
1-ROOM APARTMENTS
Upper limit of 1-room apartments have shifted upwards by about $1,000. Most frequently offered prices have also shifted rightwards from range $10,000-$15,000 to $12,000-$16,000.

2-ROOM APARTMENTS
Mean price of 2-room apartments accelerated upwards the least in June 2009. 5.44% increase was a result of price shifts in different directions and of various scales in zones.

Amongst all, zone 2 was yet in full throttle downwards in June 2009, with -3.79% decline, whereas in zone 1 and zone 2, though of varying scales, mean prices increased.

Average price of 3-room apartments in Tashkent increased by 10.56%, accounted for by unanimous price increases in all zones.

June 2009 features of 4-room apartments went close to the pattern of 2-room apartments. Only one zone carried on with a minus change.
It is worthwhile to mention that price distribution of 4-room apartments repeated February 2009 price allocation frequency, which may imply that prices of more luxurious apartments are reviving by increasing at a higher rate.
